THE ARTICHOKE OF BENICARLÓ
The artichoke is, without a doubt, the typical product of Benicarló. Thanks to the climatic and geographical conditions of the region where it is grown, as well as the physical characteristics of the artichoke in this area, they have managed to obtain this variety the designation of origin of the "Artichoke of Benicarló" by the Ministry of Agriculture , Fishing and Food of the Generalitat Valenciana on September 18, 1998.
